Aravind Kumar Viswanathan is an experienced System Architect with more than 14 years of experience in the Life Sciences and oil and gas industries. He is currently working as an Architect Controls Engineering at Cytiva, where he is involved in the development of an automation platform for the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Aravind has a demonstrated history of working in engineering, control systems design, EPC, process automation, and project engineering. Aravind has experience in the design and development of automation products and providing solutions to customer cases. He has also commissioned bio Pharma manufacturing plants, substation automation, and blast furnaces. Aravind has handled Rockwell, Wonderware, and Delta V systems. Previously, Aravind worked at General Electric as a Senior System Specialist before joining Cytiva, formerly GE Life Sciences. At Cytiva, he works with more than 6,700 people across 40 countries. Aravind has a strong passion for life sciences and is driven to bringing transformative health to patients through researchers, hospitals, and the pharmaceutical partners of Cytiva. Aravind holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics from PSG College of Technology, which he completed in 2008. He is skilled in various technologies and holds the position of Senior Software Engineer.
